BOOB to DOUG: Yeah, no more back surgery for me, though it's still a problem, we're trying to be patient, back in the hospital again, hoping to make some fast progress.

Doug – Boob: One of my sisters has had multiple back surgeries. Now she’s looking at another to undo some of what was first done years ago. I think she regrets ever having any of them.

BOOB to DOUG ON THE HOUSEHOLD: Hope all is calm now, and you're recovering OK!!!

Doug – Boob: I’m sleeping in my own bed again, and I have privacy. Those are both positives. Now where does privacy cross into seclusion? I haven’t had a date since September and prospects are slim at the moment. I am just treading water so eventually I will swim or sink.

Meanwhile poor Beauregard was put down last week, although I didn’t attend since I hadn’t seen him in months and it was agreed he would either not know who I was or would be too excited. Better to let him go peacefully.
